SHOT TYPES

We have decided to use a tracking shot so that the audience can be drawn in so that it can feel like the audience are in the moment
Hand reaches out and grabs her
Over the shoulder shot
We have decided to use an over the shoulder shot to add mystery  and add tension to the scene as you won't be able to see whose hand it is.
Girl looks at camera and screams
Close up shot
A close up shot will be used for this scene as it will clearly show the audience her scared emotion and draw the audience in.
Shot of dead girl on the floor
Crab shot
We have chosen to use a crabbing shot as the shot of the dead girl is meant to be a brief in and out moment to foreshadow the events that are yet to come.
Class leaving room
Wide shot
We will use a wide shot so that the audience can see the class leaving and notice the quantity of people leaving making the girl seem more alone.
Girl (Lucy) packing away
Medium shot
We have decided to use a medium shot of the girl packing away so that we can see that there is no one around her but still close enough to understand what she is doing.
Figure walking past classroom she looks up
Mid shot
We have decided to use a mid shot for this scene so that we can have both characters inL
Looking down at Lucy leaving school gate
High angle shot
We have decided to use a high angle shot to suggest something watching the girl and giving the audience the chance to know what is going to happen.
Lucy walking quickly out of school
Tracking shot
We are using a tracking shot to follow the girl to suggest she is being followed and also emphasize how scared she is.
Lucy looking up to window at Florence
Over the shoulder shot
We are using an over the shoulder shot so that the audience gets a sense of realism and feels as though they are there with Lucy, also looking up at the window.
Words written on the window
Close up shot
The words written on the window are going to be the credits for the film so close up shots will be used so they can be read.
Walking down her road and into house
Long shot
We have decided to use a long shot for this action so that the audience can see where Lucy is/is going.
Calling for mum
Close up shot
The mum will not be in the house so the girl will feel alone so the close up shot will allow the audience to see the anxious expression on her face.
Lucy entering bedroom/dog entering
Medium shot
A medium shot will be used so that you can see Lucy as well whilst the dog is entering the bedroom as well.
Children playing and laughing

A cutaway shot
This will be a brief shot of children playing it will be used to give the audience a break from the main character and also to add a distraction from the main storyline.
Lucy looks around when it suddenly goes silent
Medium-close up
This shot will be used so that the audience can see Lucy’s scared and confused expression due to the change of atmosphere
Shot of the empty surrounding
Wide shot
A wide shot will be used so that we can see how empty and alone Lucy is on the green.
Looks up little girl is looking down on her from her bedroom
Low angle shot
We have decided to use a low angle shot to see the girl in the window. We have decided on a low angle shot as it will suggest Lucy’s vulnerability and also add emphasis to the idea of someone following her.
Lucy running up to the room
Tracking shot
A tracking shot will be used to add excitement to the scene and emphasise how scared Lucy is

Door slams
Extreme close up on the door handle
We have decided to use an extreme close up shot on the door handle to emphasise the fact that she is trapped the desired effect is that tension will be created.
Girl tries to open the door
Over the shoulder shot
We have decided to use an over the shoulder shot as it makes the audience experience the adrenaline rush that the character would be feeling.
Runs out of house and up path
Tracking shot
We have decided to use a tracking shot so that the audience can follow her move and also so the audience can see and hear the terror she has.
